Project Description
The Karachaganak oil and gas field is the largest gas field in Kazakhstan. It is owned and operated by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), a consortium made up of Eni (29.25 per cent), Royal Dutch Shell (29.25 per cent), Chevron (18 per cent), Lukoil (13.5 per cent) and KazMunaiGas, Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company (10 per cent). The installed units are part of a long investment plan for the region.
Their constrution took place in Romania.
