TCPI took care of all Instrumentation and Electricity works in two modules of Kaombo construction in the Ambriz Yard of Petromar /Saipem in Angola.

Project Description

The manufacture of the Modules was developed in Petromar’s Yard – Ambriz / Angola.

Kaombo is a challenging project located at Block 32, approximately 260 km off Luanda, at water depths between 1,400 and 1,950 meters, with a combined production capacity of 230,000 barrels per day.

Construction

TCPI performed installation and commissioning work in the FPSO Kaombo North Project. The scope of work consisted in the installation of Instrumentation and Electrical equipment’s integrating the activities of execution of cable trays, pull and connection cable, installation of Jb’s, Installation and calibration instruments and general commissioning.

The E & I works on Modules was carried out over a period of 12 months, with an average of 24 persons on site, using a total of 39,000 productive Man hours.
