TCPI Internacional attaches Renewable Energies to its activity portfolio
With two projects successfully completed, TCPI currently integrates a specialized offer in the Renewable Energies market
MORAY EAST Project – 2019/2020
TCPI was given, by its Client Smulders, the responsibility for electrically and mechanically install the 55 Jackets for the Moray East project.
The works were split between 2 locations, being that 35 jackets were executed at Smulders yard in Hoboken and 20 jackets at the Navantia yard in Puerto Real.
The works were concluded and the jackets are now in Newcastle for final assessments before their final journey to the Moray Firth.
TCPI would like to thank all the cooperation it had with Smulders and Navantia for the completion of the scope.
Moray East will feature a total of 100 MHI Vestas V164 9,5MW turbines installed over an area of 295Km². The project is supposed to supply 40% of Scotland energy needs and is scheduled to come online during 2021.
The project is being developed by Moray Offshore Wind Farm East (MOWEL), a joint venture of EDP Renewables, Engie, Diamond Green Limited and CTG.
WINDFLOAT ATLANTIC Project – 2019
Within the scope of this contract, TCPI Internacional provided procurement services for equipment within the scope of the installation, and carried out the installation of cable paths, installation of cables (electrical, instrumentation and communication), installation of electrical panels, installation of Lighting and Instrumentation, tests and commissioning.
The Project consisted of the electrification and installation of instruments for two floating platforms for the production of wind energy to be anchored at sea, at LISNAVE shipyards, in Setúbal, Portugal, for its Client ASM.
The WINDFLOAT ATLANTIC Project is the first marine wind farm in Portugal and the first floating wind farm in Continental Europe.
